J & M provide several vital services to leading companies in the steel, oil and gas, general engineering and renewable energy sector + many other specialist companies.

Our services include Structural Steel Fabrication & Welding (BS EN 1090 EXC Class 2), General Fabrication including plate rolling and bending, Sheet Metal Work, Specialist Welding, Pipe Work and Mechanical Fitting.

J&M also specialise in offering a vast array of Machining Services, an industry J & M has invested heavily in over the years, housing a vast array of Lathes, Millers and Borers etc at our Workshop Facility.

Our manufacturing facility is based in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire next to the UK Motorway network for ease of transport to deliver our products and services to our customers. Our fleet of delivery vehicles has also expanded so we are able to meet the demands of our customers.

J & M maintain a regular workforce of highly trained, skilled craftsmen and have a proactive succession policy involving the recruitment and training of apprentices in all our core disciplines. This provides us with the stability of skills and retention of knowledge required to maintain the high standards to which we work.

We have built up our reputation on our ability to respond promptly to production requirements as well as complying with the stringent quality standards demanded by our customers. Our distinctive combination of skills allows us to provide a comprehensive service together with supporting documentation.

From small one off bespoke items to multi-million pound contracts built to international codes, our long established and skilled workforce adopt the same ethic for producing quality work on time.

J & M employ coded welders and work to BS EN 15614 and BS EN ISO 9606 as applicable.

We have in house rolling, pressing and cutting and profiling facilities which enables us to minimise subcontracting work and maximise control from both a quality and delivery aspect.

J & M are accredited to BS EN 1090-2:2008 + A1 2011 up to and including Execution Class 2
